
Elyssa Kupferberg is a Director/Investments with the Private Client Group of Stifel. Elyssa previously worked with Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, Americas, as a Director/Investments in 2013 until Stifel acquired the unit in 2015. Prior to Barclays, she worked at BNY Mellon for 14 years, serving as Senior Sales Director and Senior Vice President/Investments. Before joining BNY Mellon in 1999, she was Vice President and South Palm Beach County Market Manager at Chase Manhattan Private Bank and a Regional Manager in the commercial/middle market lending division of Chase Manhattan Bank in New York. She began her career in the financial services industry in 1985.
Elyssa earned dual degrees in 1985 from the University of Pennsylvania – a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and a B.A. in Communications from the Annenberg School of Communications. She also earned an MBA in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University in 1991. Elyssa holds her Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.

She is a member for the Greater Boca Raton Estate Planning Council, a committee member for JAFCO (Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options) “In My Shoes” Luncheon, and a committee member for Baptist Hospital “Go Pink” Luncheon.
Additionally, Elyssa is the recipient of the 2009 Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options Woman of the Year Award, 2010 ADL Community Service Award, the 2012 JCC Hanadiv President’s Award, the 2013 JFNA National Endowment Achievement Award, the AJC 2013 Woman of Valor, the 2016 Mitzvah Society Honoree for the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation for the Federation, and 2018 Israel Bonds’ Businessperson of the Year Award.

Andrew S. Toback joined Stifel in 2023, bringing with him experience in the investment industry since 2020. He is a graduate of Lynn University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship. Andrew holds the Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as Life and Health (including variable annuities) insurance licenses.

Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Alex graduated from Indiana University in 2022 with a B.S. in Recreation and a Major in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management. During his collegiate career, he took a year and a half off to serve as a combat soldier in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) before returning to Bloomington, Indiana, to complete his degree. He has since earned Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses.
After graduation, Alex moved to New York City to begin his financial services career by working at the financial planning desk at Morgan Stanley in 2022. He joined Stifel in New York City in 2023.
Alex then worked with Israel Bonds in 2024. He served as a debt securities professional focused on retail and institutional investors. After that experience, Alex decided to return to wealth management and rejoined Stifel as a member of our team at Kupferberg Wealth Management Group.
Alex and his wife, Nechama, recently welcomed a baby boy, Amichai, and the couple decided to relocate to South Florida. Outside the office, Alex enjoys playing drums, going to the gym, watching classic movies, reading about stock and the markets, playing sports, and spending time with friends and family.
